Note: the numbers below are an illustrative example of what a Growth Scorecard looks like, not a real client's results. We'll swap this out for an actual case study once we have one to share. Here's what the report itself covers, month by month.
What is a Growth Scorecard, exactly?
It's a one-page monthly report that turns raw marketing activity, calls, form fills, bookings, into plain-language numbers a busy attorney can actually read in two minutes, plus one or two specific recommendations for the month ahead. The point isn't more data, it's less noise.
What does month 1 typically cover?
Mostly setup and baseline: Google Business Profile fully optimized, NAP consistency fixed across existing listings, and a handful of citations submitted. Lead volume in month 1 is usually flat, this is foundation-laying, not results yet, and a scorecard that pretends otherwise isn't being honest with the client.
What changes by month 2?
Early local pack visibility movement typically starts showing up, along with the first pieces of content going live. This is usually where call volume starts trending up, even if modestly. A good scorecard shows the trend line, not just a single month's snapshot, since one month of data barely means anything on its own.
What does month 3 look like when it's working?
By month 3 the compounding effect of GBP, reviews, and content working together usually becomes visible: a real increase in qualified inbound leads, not just website traffic. This is also the point where it's worth revisiting the 90-day plan itself, doubling down on whatever channel is actually converting.
What should a firm actually do with this report?
Read the one or two recommended actions, and actually do them. A scorecard that just gets glanced at and filed away isn't providing much value beyond peace of mind. The firms that see the best results treat the monthly recommendation as a real to-do item, not a suggestion to ignore.
